Clean Marina Programme

Coffs Harbour Marina is in the process of achieving Clean Marina Certification. This is an international, voluntary accreditation system for marinas and associated industry operators. Starmarinas has invested considerable resources in working towards certification. The goal of the Clean Marinas Programme is to reduce pollution associated with boating/marina facilities, and to promote clean water, clean air and  protect existing marine flora and fauna habitats. Coffs Harbour Marina is home to dolphins, green turtles, sea snakes, jelly fish, eagle rays and hundreds of molluscs, plants and fish species. We work hard at preserving and protecting our Marina inhabitants (including the two legged variety!), and look forward to being able to display a Clean Marina banner.

It's Tuna Season

The tuna season is well and truly underway on the Coffs Coast. Nothing quite compares to the sight of long liners and trawlers jostling for position on the Fishermens Co-Op wharf. Apparently it has been a bumper season, with crew spending hours unloading their precious cargo. If you are in the vacinity, be sure to wander down to the wharf and marvel at natures bounty and the precision of the professional crews. Don't forget to check out the seasonal specials at the Co-Op fresh shop.
